A Legacy of Praise, Excellence and Community

First presented in 2016, Adonis International’s Gospel Choir Explosion brought churches, choirs, praise teams, families and community supporters together for an unforgettable celebration of gospel music, worship and friendly competition. The event created a larger platform for talented performers to share their gifts while promoting fellowship, unity and community pride. Available footage identifies Bishop Alfred and Rosemary Lands as the winners of the 2016 Gospel Choir Explosion. Now, nearly a decade later, the vision is being renewed as an annual celebration, with current prize opportunities of $5,000, $2,500 and $500 for competing choirs, along with $2,500, $1,000 and $500 for praise teams. The renewed Gospel Choir Explosion will honor past champions while welcoming a new generation of performers to worship, compete, connect and continue the legacy.
